英語読解添削講座 Eメールで毎日少しずつ学習 知らず知らずで、読解力・語彙力がついてくる

語学を習得するには、読解と作文があります。「読み」「書き」です。読解には語彙、文法、イディオム学習が含まれます。この講座では、Eメールを使い、多くの文章を短期間のうちに訳す学習をします。学習に必要な「継続」が講座の目的です。

RZM(7)Some people have a good sense of humor, and others do not. Humor is an aspect of a person's personality. When we encounter someone who has no sense of humor, we will probably feel he lacks something important. He doesn't see the interesting details of things, he doesn't get jokes, he takes life too seriously, and so on. Put another way, he will likely come off as annoying and boring. Instead, we will be attracted to people with a good sense of humor who can share what we feel is enjoyable.
RU(7)1.The increase of electricity rates is due to higher costs of power generation if nuclear reactors can only be operated for up to 30 years. Another factor for the higher rates is the power grid building costs in case nuclear power is to be replaced by an increased output of renewable energy.
2. Police said Friday they have arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of robbing a convenience store after he returned to the crime scene to apologize. A company employee from Tokyo is accused of robbing a convenience store. According to police, at the time of the robbery, he had pointed a knife at the store clerk, tied his hands and feet, and stole 1.75 million yen from the store’s safe. He then fled the scene and had remained at large despite police efforts to find him. The manhunt, however, changed drastically when the robber apparently regretting his actions, returned to the convenience store to apologize to the staff. (Japan today )
3. People should stay away from e-cigarettes for now until the risks are better understood, and that is according to a top U.S. health official. She says it’s best to hold off from vaping until the cause of a respiratory illness is identified.
Anne Schuchat is deputy director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC says 530 cases of lung disease have been linked to vaping and e-cigarettes. It says nine deaths have been reported. Schuchat says the CDC sees more cases each day. Officials expect the number to just keep rising.
She says over a hundred CDC officials are investigating the matter, but the results could take some time. (NHK 2019 Oct)
