英語の学習にお奨めなのは、作文学習と読解学習です。この二つは、基本的な学習方法で、特色は、いつでも自分の好きな時に出来るということです。特に作文学習は、英語の表現を一つ一つものにしていくのに不可欠です。つまり、ネイティブスピーカーが一つ一つ小さいころに覚えていくのを、ネイティブでない人がやるのに最適な方法です。もう一つの読解は、つまり本や新聞や雑誌を読むことですね。これは、単語力を上げたり、表現力を学んだりするのに不可欠です。
スラング学習は、本を読んだり、特に映画を見たりするときに必要です。映画を見ているとわかりますが、あまりスラングを使わない映画と、スラングだらけの映画がありますね。スラングだらけの映画は、普通に英語を学習している人はまず解読不可能ですから、わからなくても気にする必要はありません。DIE HARDをみてわからなかったという人は、悩む必要はありません。ほとんどスラングといってもいいくらいの映画ですから。下記に主としてそういう映画から取ったスラングを紹介します。
